Wow Mom is thrilled to announce the expansion of our impactful initiatives centred on designing child-friendly cities where children can grow, learn and thrive. In partnership with Nairobi City County Government (NCCG) , Wow Mom is advancing Women Economic Empowerment through establishment of daycare services in market centres. The daycare centers ensure that children receive quality care enabling their caregivers to focus on their businesses.
These daycare centres are designed to be community hubs that support communities within and around Mwariro market centre. Recognizing the pivotal role of early literacy in child development, we are organising a “Mwariro Community Storytime” book reading event to promote a love for reading among children and to engage the entire community in this early childhood educational endeavor. The event is scheduled for Saturday 3rd August 2024 at Mwariro Market Center which is located along Racecourse Road at the Kariokor Roundabout in Nairobi CBD.
